Walking requires the right fuel. Forget those ultra-processed bars and learn how to make energy-packed snacks, tailored to provide the energy you need for hikes lasting several hours. In this hands-on workshop, we’ll combine oats, nuts and seeds to create natural, nutritious bars that fit perfectly in your rucksack and ensure you’ve got plenty of energy right up to the last kilometre.

Puppet Theatre WorkshopTeatro da Peúga

“Teatro da Peúga” has been designed for families who want to create, play and use their imagination together! The workshop invites participants to immerse themselves in the world of puppet theatre by creating characters made from socks. Over the course of three complementary stages, participants explore handcrafting, the basic principles of puppetry and the collective creation of a short story, based on emotions and values, which is then performed in a small theatre specially built for the occasion.

“Bora Lá Brincar”

Bora Lá Brincar é um projeto concebido pelo Município de Loulé, Loulé Cidade Educadora, enquanto membro da Rede Territorial Portuguesa das Cidades Educadoras e a integrar o Grupo de Trabalho “Brincar na Cidade Educadora”. Este Grupo de Trabalho tem por objetivo promover atividades lúdicas que incentivem a educação e o desenvolvimento integral das crianças nas cidades. Este grupo trabalha em conjunto com diversas entidades, instituições e parceiros para criar um ambiente que valorize o brincar como uma ferramenta essencial para a aprendizagem, socialização e bem-estar das crianças. Entre os jogos, iremos ter carrinhos de rolamentos, jogos tradicionais, gincanas, skates para brincar, por forma a criar momentos de brincadeira, interação entre crianças, jovens e famílias.

Beginning Ritual:
The Awakening
of the Senses

Description: Welcome the new day with a sunrise ritual. Before we set off along the Ameixial trails, an invitation to pause and observe one of the greatest spectacles on Earth. The Beginning Ritual has been designed for those who believe that the best way to explore Nature is to first be in tune with oneself.
Includes Sunrise Meditation and a Healthy, Delicious Breakfast.
Enjoy a morning feast prepared with fresh, local products. Seasonal fruit, artisan breads and hot drinks await you, in a friendly atmosphere where you can share with fellow walkers.

Note: This is a paid activity.

Yoga at Seiceira

Descrição: This session, on the threshing floor next to the water tank viewpoint, will include breathing techniques (pranayamas), postures (asanas), relaxation techniques and meditation. And, of course, a walk to the site! Everyone is welcome!

Note: Participants should bring their own yoga mat.

A slideshow of images and photographs accompanied by live music from accordionist Nuno Carpinteiro.

This will be followed by a night-time walk around the village.

The Sevillian flautist Ruben Diez, accompanied by the virtuoso accordionist Nuno Carpinteiro, travel through the sounds of world music, inviting all participants to dance in the company of the instructor Fátima Monteiro from the group Danças do Mundo ao Sul.
